North Plains Systems Announces The Release TeleScope Enterprise 7.1
7.1 Includes Cutting Edge Full Service Order Processing System - Official Mac OS X Native Client Functionality Released
SEYBOLD SEMINARS, SAN FRANCISCO, CA - SEPTEMBER 9, 2003 - North Plains Systems, Inc., the leader in Enterprise Digital Asset Management (E-DAM) solutions, today announced the release of TeleScopeT Enterprise 7.1, the next generation in E-DAM technology for today's largest and most demanding Fortune 1,000 companies.
TeleScope Enterprise 7.1 is designed to enable organizations to increase their return on investment (ROI) by expanding its use throughout the enterprise. With the addition of the TeleScope 7.1 Order Processing Module, customers now have access to the tools and functionality to implement the industry's only complete asset ordering and loading system. TeleScope 7.1 also boasts the newly added Macintosh OS X native client.
TeleScope allows companies to build their own routing system within the TeleScope framework to match their own unique needs. With TeleScope Enterprise 7.1, there are a series of pre-built components that the designer can place on the order form to provide standard functionality including an order header, an order format, an address picker and a quantity picker.
"True to our reputation for quick turn around and a proactive work style, North Plains Systems has been able to respond to our clients needs in a very short period of time with the release of TeleScope Enterprise 7.1 just months after the launch of version 7.0," said Hassan Kotob, president and CEO of North Plains Systems. "In our current economic environment, now more than ever, companies have to justify their spending by showing that they are servicing more people, but in a manner that creates new revenue streams or shows cost benefit and savings. The new Order Processing functionality has enormous fiscal benefits in the eyes of our customers for very obvious reasons. With that in mind we chose to accelerate the implementation of this system for our customers."
"The new TeleScope Viewer client for TeleScope Enterprise 7.1 has been Carbonized so it runs completely native under Mac OS X," said Steve Sauder, CTO for North Plains Systems, Inc. "We've improved the Macintosh Viewer to use many of the native features available in OS X, such as Navigation Services and we've tapped into the power of OS X's underlying Unix core to provide a very fast, robust implementation. Our many native Macintosh users will be pleased with the functionality and stability of the new native OS X client."
All of the new TeleScope Enterprise 7.1 features provide users with the same ease of use they have come to expect from version 7.0, with recently added features such as Digital Rights Management, The Lookup Broker, Workflow Automation and the XML Gateway, which continue to expand the power of TeleScope and its growing leadership position in the E-DAM market. TeleScope enables production staff, vendors, licensees, partners, and consumers the ability to extract components of existing documents and dynamically generate new media assets re-purposed for a wide variety of electronic and wireless delivery methods.
