North Plains Systems Reaffirms its Commitment to the Digital Asset Management Community With the Release of TeleScope Workgroup 7.0
SAN FRANCISCO - September 25, 2001 - Today North Plains Systems, Inc., the leading provider of Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions, announced the release of TeleScope Workgroup 7.0. The latest release by North Plains is a technology blend between TeleScope's powerful native client applications and Imation's intuitive MMAWI (Media Manager Advanced Web Interface). North Plains is committed to the future development of the TeleScope Workgroup and continued support of its users. In addition to the technology partnership, North Plains has developed a seamless upgrade path for all current Media Manager and TeleScope Pro users. The North Plains/Imation agreement gives North Plains all rights with respect to the development, sales and support of the MMAWI product. Imation will support North Plains' efforts to transition existing customers and establish partnerships with Imation's CVARs (Certified Value Added Resellers). Over 400 existing North Plains and Imation customers, throughout North America and Europe, will benefit from the expanded feature-set of TeleScope Workgroup 7.0.
