Telestream's FlipFactory, a robust video indexing and transcoding solution, has integrated with TeleScope by means of the Telestream I-Piece. The robust video indexing and transcoding capabilities of Telestream’s FlipFactory product, combined with TeleScope’s core digital asset management technology, supports the unique requirements of a video production workflow. On ingest of a supported video file format into the TeleScope DAM system, a TeleScope I-Piece plug-in module calls the Telestream FlipFactory product, to perform indexing and extraction metadata from the video. It can also simultaneously encode multiple low resolution proxies from the video, if desired. When it is finished, FlipFactory notifies TeleScope, so all of this extracted information can be placed into its time- based media structure for use within TeleScope.
